The work of Stephen Willats is now on view at ZKM Karlsruhe, in Art in Europe 1945–1968: Facing the Future (22 October 2016 - 29 January 2017), a large-scale exhibition focusing on the connecting cultural forces on the Eurasian continent. ZKM's presentation looks at experimental artistic developments of the 1950s and 1960s, placing representatives of the Western neo avant-garde in the context of new Eastern European and Russian trends that have developed in parallel.
