Sarah Sze has been elected as an Honorary Royal Academician by the Royal Academy of Arts. Royal Academicians (RAs) are elected by their peers in one of four categories: Painter, Sculptor, Architect and Printmaker.
Sze uses a complex palette of materials, both analogue and digital, to question how we mark time and space. Her work ranges from immersive installations that scale architectures to paintings, sculptures, videos, drawings and prints that explore a constantly evolving visual world.
