Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Art Basel (Booth E9) with new, recent and historical works by Milton Avery, Hernan Bas, María Berrío, Stan Douglas, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe, Isaac Julien, Idris Khan, Yayoi Kusama, Wangechi Mutu, Chris Ofili, Celia Paul, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego, Emil Sands, Conrad Shawcross, Khalif Tahir Thompson, Barbara Walker and Flora Yukhnovich.
Highlights of our presentation include a major new painting by Chris Ofili, one of two related works by the artist to debut at Art Basel 2026 (on view at Victoria Miro and David Zwirner). Significant historical works include Fishing Bird, a 1962 painting by Milton Avery that is majestic in its luminosity and restraint. We will present new photographic work by Isaac Julien from his widely acclaimed All That Changes You. Metamorphosis; a new painting by Flora Yukhnovich from her latest body of work; recent sculpture and collage by Wangechi Mutu; and work from an exciting new series by Conrad Shawcross.
Additional newly created works include paintings by Chantal Joffe, Celia Paul, Emil Sands and Khalif Tahir Thompson.
As part of Basel Exclusive, a new initiative where a work is exclusively revealed for the first time during the First Choice VIP Preview, the gallery will present a new painting by Hernan Bas.
