Scenes from American suburban life, rhythmic clapping, a piano melody, then silence. A young girl whispers 'You can’t stop' over and over, drawing us inexorably into Aitken’s filmic realm. i am in you is a video installation comprising five screens, and offers a valuable opportunity to experience the worldview of this intriguing artist on an impressive scale in one of the museum’s spacious galleries.
