Tal R: Animals and People at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen

The centrepiece of the exhibition (18 June 2020–17 January 2021) is a series of new bronze sculptures, which Tal R has been working on over the past few years. This is the first time the works have been presented together.

The exhibition is presented in the Vilhelm Dahlerup building: the oldest part of the Glyptotek, which so far has housed the Museum's collection of 19th-century Danish and French sculpture. In addition to the bronzes, the exhibition features a number of plaster works and a small group of experimental films. The latter show studies of dancers in motion, thereby also shedding light on the relationship between the living body and the sculpture.
