    Continuing the gallery’s 40th anniversary celebrations, Victoria Miro is delighted to present an exhibition in Venice of some of the many gallery artists who have had a special connection to the city.

    The exhibition will include new and recent works by Hernan Bas, María Berrío, Christian Holstad, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe, Doron Langberg, Chris Ofili, Celia Paul, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego and Flora Yukhnovich.

    In 2017, Victoria Miro expanded internationally with the opening of a gallery in Venice, where, alongside a dynamic exhibition programme, it hosts ongoing artists' residencies in its Venice studio. Victoria Miro took over the seventeenth-century building from Galleria il Capricorno, which was founded by Bruna Aickelin in 1971.
