Art Basel Paris

20 – 25 October 2026
Overview

Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Art Basel Paris (Booth B17) with works by Milton Avery,  Hernan Bas, Stan Douglas, Chantal Joffe, Yayoi Kusama, Wangechi Mutu, Chris Ofili, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego, Shahzia Sikander, Hedda Sterne, Sarah Sze, Adriana Varejão and Clare Woods.

This year, we celebrate new solo institutional exhibitions opening this autumn by artists including Stan Douglas, whose exhibition Parallax opens at Jeu de Paume, Paris, on 20 October; Chris Ofili, who will open an exhibition at Pinacoteca Agnelli, Turin, on 30 October; and Sarah Sze, whose SFMOMA exhibition Forever is Composed of Nows opens on 21 November.

A further focus of our presentation is LIFE, 2015, by Yayoi Kusama. A series of tentacular forms which extend and curve into space, this major work creates a sense of proliferation, while its mosaic gold and silver surfaces are punctuated by coloured polka dots, combining the reflective qualities of the metallic tiles with Kusama's recognisable language of repetition and infinity.

We also celebrate the strength of painting in the gallery programme, with new and recent works by artists including Hernan Bas, Chantal Joffe, Wangechi Mutu, Adriana Varejão and Clare Woods presented in dialogue with works ranging in date from the 1940s to the 1980s by an earlier generation of artists including Milton Avery, Paula Rego and Hedda Sterne.
