Frieze London

Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Frieze London (Booth D12). 

A focus of our presentation features recent paintings and a sculpture by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami in a special installation conceived by the artist, in celebration of her inclusion in British Art Show 10: A Chorus of Strangers, which opens on 2 October.

Other featured works celebrate our autumn programme, including a new painting by Khalif Tahir Thompson, coinciding with his first solo exhibition with the gallery, Send in the Clowns, opening 8 October, and works by Hernan Bas, whose exhibition TIME TO SHINE! (the salesmen) is on view at the gallery in London until 14 November.

Paintings by May Cockcroft, Nour Malas and Sarah Martin-Nuss offer a preview of their upcoming three-person exhibition, Alchemies, which will be on view in our London galleries from November.

The presentation will also feature new paintings by Clare Woods, who is exhibiting in London at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery and the Garden Museum, ahead of her first solo exhibition with the gallery in February 2027.

A further highlight is a selection of significant drawings by Paula Rego - whose exhibition, Dog Woman, has just been announced by The Courtauld Gallery for February 2027.

Additionally, new and recent work by a number of our gallery artists will be on view.

Frieze Sculpture

Eye of the Needle (Time Pebble (E30ALC13)), a major new work by Conrad Shawcross, features at Frieze Sculpture. The work is part of a new series that will debut in Shadows of the Mechanism, the artist's upcoming solo exhibition at Victoria Miro opening this November.
