While we wholeheartedly believe that collective engagement with art is important in these unprecedented times, it is our priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, artists and staff in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In an effort to do what we feel is best for our team, we have taken the decision, although not currently mandated by the UK government, to temporarily close our London galleries to the public. Our Venice gallery and New York office remain closed.
Victoria Miro has stopped all global business travel. We are all working remotely to minimise exposure. We strongly believe that by taking this proactive decision we are protecting the wellbeing of our team, our artists and our wider community during this time.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and respond accordingly as we know more, and we will update you as the situation changes. Work will continue apace and we would of course be delighted to hear from you. We and the team are very much available for calls and conversations.
We wish you all the best of health and look forward to reopening our doors again soon and welcoming you to the gallery.
